Communication Minister lauds Katsina Directorate of Information & Communication Technology (KATDICT) in digital transformation across Northern Nigeria.
Dr Bosun Tijjani made the commendation when he visited Katsina State Directorate of Information and Communication Technology KATDICT on a working visit.
The Communication Minister Dr Bosun Tijjani who was formally in Katsina to interact with the Participants of 3MTT was earlier received by the D.G Katsina State Directorate of Information and Communication Technology Mal Naufal Ahmed.
The Minister while addressing the participants was impressed for their performance and urged them to make judicious utilization of the knowledge acquired in the attainment of the desired objectives.
Dr Bosun Tijjani informed the gathering that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has planned to train millions of Nigerian Youths on digital Innovation through his ministry.
This according to him will contribute in assisting the Nigerian Youths to stand on their feet rather than waiting for white collar jobs.
The Communication Minister Dr Bosun Tijjani use the visit to commend governor Dikko Umar Radda’s Administration for the needed priority given to digital transformation which led to the establishment of Katsina State Directorate of Information and Communication Technology KATDICT.
The Director General KATDICT Mal Naufal Ahmed thanked the minister over the visit, saying that the visit will serve as an avenue for KATDICT to seek for areas of collaboration with the Federal ministry of communication, information and digital economy.
The DG briefed the Minister on the commitment of governor Dikko Umar Radda towards the development of digital communication and innovation in the state.
