Gobarau Academy Katsina has organised a graduation ceremony to it’s pupils and students who completed primary, junior and senior secondary school.
The Graduation ceremony of pupils and students of Gobarau Academy Katsina which tookplace at the premises of the school, was witnessed by parents, relatives and well wishers of the graduating students.
Gobarau Academy is one of the private schools that excelled in imparting sound education and good morale behaviuor to its pupils and students.
This could be attested to by the result of this year’s JAMB examination in which one of the students of the school emerged the best candidate with over 340 marks scored in the examination, emerging the highest scorer in the State.
Addressing the gathering, the State Chief Judge, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar appreciated the performance of the pupils and students of the school who graduated.
Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar also thanked the parents and teachers of the school for their tireless effort to ensure good moral upbringing of the graduands and other students of the school.
He used the opportunity to call on parents in the State to ensure moral upbringing of their wards as they will account on how they take care of them in the hereafter.
The guest speaker at the occasion Dr.Bishir Usman Ruwan Godiya represented by the HOD Mass Communication Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, Muhammad Bello Sada, spoke extensively on the Importance of both Islamic and western education.
Dr. Bishir Usman Ruwan Godiya charged the Management of the school to keep up the good work of imparting sound education to students and pupils of the school.
In his remark, the principal of the School Mr. C.C Oke said the school has excelled in graduating students who excelled in their various fields of endeavour.
Mr. C.C Oke drew the attention of the graduating students to be good ambassadors of the school where ever they found themselves.
The principal informed the gathering that, despite the poor general result of this year’s SSCE, the result of students of the school was highly impressive.
The head boy and head girl of the School expressed appreciation to their parents and the teachers of the school for ensuring their good moral upbringing.
Highlights of the occasion include presentation of gifts and prizes to the best performing students and pupils on academic and extra curricular activities.
