Katsina State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists -NUJ- has condoled with Gombe Council and the National Secretariat over the untimely passing of seven Journalists who died as a result of motor accident in Gombe State.
The death is indeed a Minus to all the entire journalists nation wide.
This is contained in a press statement signed by Katsina State Council Chairman Comrade Tukur Hassan Dan-Ali and made available to Katsina Mirror.
The deceased whom we respect for their dedication and love for Journalism profession have died when their services are mostly needed.
We pray Allah to grant them Jannatul Firdausi and grant their Families and close associates the fortitude to bear with the irreparable loss.
In a related development, the Katsina State Council of NUJ wake up today’s morning with the sad news of fire incident which razed the residential home of former General Manager of Katsina State Radio Alh Nasiru Ismaila Kira at Barhim Housing estate in Katsina metropolis.
The NUJ therefore sympathize with the former Radio General Manager and prayed Allah to bless him with better replacement of what he has lost.
We equally appeal to all related agencies to investigate the cause of the fire and possibly assist the affected family.
