Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has again paid an inspection visit to the Radda Model Smart School in Charanchi Local Government Area, marking his 14th visit to the facility and reaffirming his commitment to translating his vision for world-class education from promise to reality.

During the visit, the Governor expressed deep satisfaction with the quality of work and the high standard of infrastructure, describing the project as a clear reflection of his administration’s resolve to deliver a global-standard learning environment for the future of Katsina’s children.

Governor Radda toured the academic, residential and support facilities, including modern classrooms, well-equipped science and ICT laboratories, technical and vocational workshops, library, administrative block, staff offices, male and female hostels, dining halls, kitchen, clinic, sports stadium, water supply system, solar power plant, security posts and other critical infrastructure.

He noted that the facilities meet contemporary learning standards and embody the vision of providing inclusive, quality and technology-driven education for gifted, talented and less-privileged children across the state.

The Radda Model Smart School, a flagship and signature project of the administration, is designed as a centre of excellence, featuring smart classrooms, digital learning tools, fully equipped laboratories, modern boarding facilities and a secure, serene and conducive learning environment.

The Governor was conducted round the school by the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Hon. Yusuf Suleiman Jibia, alongside other senior officials.

He also inspected the mini solar power grid, water treatment system, perimeter fencing, internal roads, drainage network, landscaping and security installations, commending the high quality of workmanship and the level of completion.

It would be recalled that teachers have already been recruited on merit and issued offer letters, while preparations for student admission and facility management are ongoing. The Governor stressed that all arrangements must be concluded before the official commissioning and commencement of academic activities.

Governor Radda was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, and other top government officials.
