Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, will deliver the convocation lecture at the Federal University of Technology, Ilaro, formerly Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State.
The event is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the institution’s campus in Ilaro.
The governor will also be honoured with a Fellowship Award during the ceremony in recognition of his contributions to leadership, governance and public service.
The event is expected to attract dignitaries from across the country, including the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as well as traditional rulers and other top government officials.
The convocation forms part of activities lined up by the institution to celebrate academic excellence and honour distinguished personalities who have made meaningful impact in society.
