The Chairman of Rimi Local Government Alhaji Muhammad Ali Rimi, has assured of his determination to continue giving all the needed support to all Islamic related activities.
Alhaji Muhammad Ali Rimi gave the assurance during the opening of Qur’anic Recitation Competition.
The Qur’anic Recitation Competition taking place at the premises of the Local Government Secretariat, has participants of over one hundred reciters from all the wards in Rimi LG.
Addressing the participants, Rimi Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Ali Rimi said the local Council has provided all the needed support towards the successful conduct of the Qur’anic Recitation Competition.
Alhaji Muhammad Ali Rimi spoke at length on the various efforts being made by Governor Radda towards the development of Islam, and assured to follow his foot steps.
He urged the reciters to exhibit sense of maturity through out the competition for the attainment of desired success.
The Chairman disclosed that his administration has lined up a number of programmes that are targeted at bringing more development to Islam.
In his remark, the head, panel of judges for the competition expressed gratitude to the Chairman for providing all the necessary logistics towards the success of the competition.
