The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, today attended the wedding fatiha of Hajiya Aisha Adamu, daughter of Ambassador Adamu Saidu Daura, and her groom, Abdussamad Nura Rabiu.
Governor Radda was warmly received by the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruq Umar Faruq, at his palace residence, alongside members of the Daura District Heads, where the wedding fatiha took place. The atmosphere was filled with joy as family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers gathered to witness the sacred union.
The marriage ceremony was officiated by Sheikh Nazir Kofar Baru Daura. The Magajin Gari of Daura, Alhaji Musa Umar, stood in as the waliy representing the bride, while Sheikh Nuhu Isiyaku Rabiu represented the groom’s side. Both carried out the religious responsibilities with dignity.
Governor Radda presence at the wedding underscored his strong sense of community, his respect for personal bonds, and his commitment to celebrating life’s joyful moments alongside friends and associates.
Special prayers were offered for the couple, seeking Allah’s blessings for a marriage filled with peace, understanding, and lasting happiness.
The wedding ceremony attracted prominent personalities from across the country who gathered at the palace to honour the occasion.
In attendance were the former National Security Adviser, General Aliyu Gusau (rtd.); the former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido; the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly Hon Nasir Yahaya Daura; family members of the late renowned Kano scholar, Sheikh Isiyaku Rabiu; and the distinguished business mogul, Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal.
Also present were the Katsina State APC Chairman, Alhaji Sani Aliyu Daura; members of the National and State Assemblies; business community leaders; traditional and religious leaders; politicians; and several other prominent personalities.
