Earlier this evening, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, paid a visit to the Government Girls Technical and Commercial College, Charanchi.
The Governor was warmly welcomed by the school management and staff before proceeding on a tour of the facilities. He inspected classrooms, hostels, and other learning areas to assess their condition and suitability for the students.
Governor Radda also interacted with the students, listening to their views and encouraging them to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to their studies as a pathway to personal growth and community development.
He further inspected the school kitchen and observed the feeding arrangements. The Governor assured the students that his administration will continue to give close attention to their daily welfare, including meals, with a pledge that adequate food supplies will always be provided for all students.
The visit once again reflects Governor Radda’s hands-on style of leadership and his resolve to strengthen education and empower young girls across Katsina State.
Accompanying the Governor were Aisha Saidu Barda, Special Adviser on School Feeding who provided insights on the school feeding programme and other educational initiatives in the state.
