- ‘Building Your Future’ Agenda Delivers Visible Impact Across All Sectors — APC Stakeholder
The Katsina State Government, under the leadership of Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has recorded remarkable achievements across critical development sectors, touching the lives of citizens across the state.
An APC stakeholder in Katsina State, Hon. Nafiu Muhammed Musa, disclosed that the Governor’s performance has fully justified the confidence reposed in him by the people, as he continues to steadily and faithfully implement his “Building Your Future” agenda, translating campaign promises into concrete results.
“From security to social welfare, from agriculture to education, the ‘Building Your Future’ agenda is no longer a slogan but a reality the people can see and feel. The Governor has matched words with action, and the results are now visible in communities across the state,” Hon. Musa stated.
He said the administration has made significant progress in security, noting that when Governor Radda assumed office, many local governments were under serious threat.
“When this administration came in, several local governments were battling serious security challenges, but today the story has changed due to the establishment of the Community Security Watch Corps (C-WATCH) and improved synergy with the Armed Forces and other security agencies, which have helped restore peace and confidence,” he affirmed.
Hon. Musa added that the Governor’s impact spans community development programmes, the health sector, agriculture, education, social welfare, water resources, and public service reform, ensuring that no sector or community is left untouched.
He further noted that the expansion of the KT-CARES social intervention programme has provided relief and support to vulnerable citizens of the State, communities.
“Through programmes like KT-CARES, and targeted support for people with disabilities, the government has shown genuine commitment to the vulnerable and less privileged. These interventions have strengthened social protection and inclusion across Katsina State,” he stressed.
Highlighting key institutional reforms, Hon. Musa said the creation of the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA) and the Katsina Directorate of Information and Communications Technology (KATDICT) reflects a forward-looking vision.
“The administration is empowering small businesses, promoting entrepreneurship, creating jobs, and laying a solid digital foundation for efficient and modern governance,” he affirmed.
He commended Governor Radda’s statewide tour, during which massive crowds turned out in all local governments to welcome him, describing it as a clear demonstration of popular acceptance, trust, and grassroots support.
“The massive turnout during the tour is a clear testimony of acceptance and trust, showing that the people appreciate a leader who reaches out to them directly and governs with unity, consultation, and inclusiveness,” he said.
According to him, the Governor’s courtesy visits to traditional rulers and key stakeholders in every community have further strengthened unity and inclusive governance across the state.
Hon. Musa emphasized that Governor Radda stands out as one of the few leaders in recent years who personally visited all local governments barely two years after assuming office, rather than waiting until the next election season to reconnect with the people.
He concluded that the visible impact of the administration’s policies and projects across all sectors has consolidated public confidence and reinforced the belief that continuity will further secure a brighter and more prosperous future for Katsina State.
