







The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, today joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other dignitaries at the Wedding Fatiha of Nasiruddeen Abdulaziz Yari and his bride, Safiyya Shehu Idris.
The ceremony was held at the historic Sultan Bello Central Mosque in Kaduna, a landmark venue renowned for hosting major religious occasions.
Nasiruddeen is the son of Senator Abdulaziz Yari, former Governor of Zamfara State and serving member of the National Assembly. Special prayers were offered for the couple, seeking Allah’s blessings for peace, harmony, and lasting happiness in their marriage.
The event drew an impressive array of dignitaries from across Nigeria’s political, traditional, and business circles. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led the guests, alongside the host, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State.
In attendance were Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio; Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin; and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, along with other principal officers of the National Assembly, including Senator Olamilekan Adeola Solomon and Senate Majority Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele. Former Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, was also present.
The Federal Executive Council was well represented with the Minister of Finance, Mr. Wale Edun; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu; Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle; and Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, among others.
The traditional institution was equally represented, with the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, and the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, lending royal splendour to the occasion.
Several governors, led by the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, also graced the occasion. They included Professor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno, Dr. Nasir Idris of Kebbi, Umar Bago of Niger, and Mai Mala Buni of Yobe. Former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, and the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Masari, were also in attendance.
Other notable personalities at the wedding included Mr. Seyi Tinubu, son of the President, and former EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, among many others who joined in celebrating with the Yari family.
