Hajia Radda commissions new Primary Health Care Centre in Sabonwar Abuja, empowers 200 women

The Wife of the Katsina State Governor, Hajia Zulaihat Dikko Radda, has urged residents of Sabonwar Abuja in Makera Ward to make effective use of the newly commissioned Primary Health Care Centre in their community.

She made the call during the official commissioning of the Health Clinic and the Hajia Zulaihat Dikko Radda Vocational Centre, located in the Secretary area of Funtua Local Government Area.

Hajia Zulaihat Dikko Radda also empowered two hundred women with a start-up capital of ten thousand naira each, encouraging the beneficiaries to invest the funds in viable small-scale businesses to achieve self-reliance and improve their livelihoods.

She reaffirmed the commitment of the Katsina State Government to strengthening the health sector and stressed the importance of early access to healthcare services in promoting community wellbeing and reducing preventable health challenges.

Earlier in a welcome address, the Chairman of Funtua Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdulmuttalib Jibrin Goya, alongside his wife, Hajia Binta Abdulmuttalib Goya, expressed appreciation to the Governor’s wife for her dedication and continuous efforts toward uplifting the living standards of the people.

In a vote of thanks, the Village Head, Sarkin Maska, Hakimin Funtua, Alhaji Sambo Idris Sambo, commended the Katsina State Government for its efforts in reducing insecurity and lauded the gesture of the Governor and his wife toward the development of the community.

Highlights of the event included the presentation of special awards to the Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, and his wife, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to community development.
