Operatives of Katsina state police command have foiled kidnap during which they rescued four victims in separate operations at Malumfashi and Kankia Local Government Areas of the state.
The sanitation exercise led by the Katsina State Commissioner of Police was carried out by police personnel, including officers and men, who were joined by traders, artisans, and other members of the community. Together, they cleared trash, swept the market area, and generally improved the aesthetic appeal of the market.
The Katsina State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs has commended the successful joint military operation conducted by troops of the 17 Brigade in conjunction with Air Component Operation Forest Sanity, which resulted in the rescue of 84 captives from terrorist enclaves in Kankara Local Government Area.
