In what they described as the celebration of two years of unprecedented achievements, the people of Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency, Saturday, trooped out in their thousands to welcome the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Interior, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Special Assistant on Media to the Chairman, Houses of Representatives Committee on Interior Sardauna Francis and and made available to Katsina Mirror.
Adorned in their best ceremonial attire, the indigenes and residents of the constituency treated their lawmaker and First Dujiman Katsina to a heroic homecoming ceremony at the historic town of Musawa, where Ahmed hails from, while singing solidarity songs.
Although the federal lawmaker was in Musawa to distribute N54,270,000 scholarship grants to 2,199 students of the constituency, he was received by the visibly excited and overwhelming people of the area with loud cheers, pomp and pageantry.
The jubilant residents and visitors heaped praises on the legislator for what they described as sterling performance in office, with traditional and modern singers entertaining the mammoth crowd that thronged the town.
Before his arrival at the headquarters of Musawa Local Government, a crowd of citizens/residents had lined up at the roadside along Matazu-Musawa highway expressing gratitude to Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed for bringing democratic dividends to the constituents.
Some of the citizens who spoke after Ahmed’s convoy pulled over to acknowledge their greetings said the All Progressives Congress’ lawmaker had left an indelible mark of achievements in the Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency.
When the lawmaker’s motorcade arrived at the entrance of Musawa Local Government Secretariat, enthusiastic and proud indigenes/residents were seen waving at their kinsman in excitement.
The Dujiman Katsina’s kinsmen who were eager to see him, danced to the tunes of drums and trumpets.
They said their well known, respected and admired son has elevated the constituency to an enviable height through developmental projects.
While addressing his constituents, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed expressed his profound gratitude to them for the overwhelming reception accorded him, adding that their solidarity and support has motivated him to bring more projects to their doorsteps.
He urged them to continue to be law-abiding people and support the administration of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda for the continued development and transformation of the constituency and the state.
This development underscores the fact that Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed enjoys the unwavering support of the good people of Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency, who will stand by his candidacy in 2027, undeterred by the falsehoods being spread by detractors.
