Demonstrators assembled to honour the memory of those who lost their lives during the #EndSARS protests against police brutality in October 2020 at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos on Sunday but Lagos State Police Commissioner, Olanrewaju Ishola, said the protesters did not write, seeking police clearance and permission before embarking on the demonstration, therefore he declared it illegal.
