The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, yesterday attended the wedding Fatiha of Dr. Fatima Bashir Tanimu, daughter of the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Bishir Tanimu Gambo, and her groom, Umar Sani Dan Fulani.
The ceremony was held shortly after Jumu’at prayers at the historic Bani Commassie Jumu’at Mosque in Katsina, and was graced by family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers.
Governor Radda, who served as the Wali of the bride, dutifully performed the religious rites, reflecting his close bond with Hon. Tanimu and his family.
Prayers were offered for the couple’s blessed and joyful matrimonial life.
In attendance were the Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, Hon. Bishir Tanimu Gambo, APC State PRO Shamsu Sule Funtua, as well as senior government officials and dignitaries.
