Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated Nigeria’s former Vice President, Arch. Muhammad Namadi Sambo, GCON, on his turbaning as the Sardauna of Zazzau by His Royal Highness, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, the Emir of Zazzau.
Governor Radda described the conferment of the prestigious traditional title as well-deserved recognition of the former Vice President’s exemplary leadership, distinguished public service, and contributions to national development.
The Governor praised Arch. Sambo’s legacy of service, spanning his tenure as Governor of Kaduna State and Vice President of Nigeria, where he championed infrastructural development, education, and economic reforms.
Governor Radda also commended the Emir of Zazzau for his discerning choice, noting that the former Vice President’s integrity, humility, and track record in governance make him a worthy holder of the esteemed title.
He prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and divine guidance for the Sardauna of Zazzau as he assumes his new traditional responsibilities.
Governor Radda also extended his regards to the royal father and the entire Zazzau Emirate, wishing them continued peace and prosperity.
