The winning Kwara YSFON Team defeated Bauchi YSFON Team by 8 goals to 7 on penalties after a goalless draw at regulation time.
Throughout the contest, both teams demonstrate impressive soccer skills, much to the delight of the throngs of fans who have gathered at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium to watch the game.
The two sides’ strong defensive efforts make it extremely tough to score a single goal, forcing the game to a penalty shootout.
The competition, held in Katsina State, drew participants from 15 states from across the country.
Shortly after, the outgoing commissioner of Sports and Youth Development Aliyu Lawal Zakari, accompanied by YSFON national leaders, presented the winners with the trophy and gold medals.
While the runners-up got silver medals and bronze went to the third-place Katsina YSFON Team, which defeated the Sokoto Team by a single goal.
The winners were congratulated for their triumph.
