























The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Mal Dikko Umaru Radda, attended the Wedding Fatiha of Ibrahim Muntaka Badaru and Ummulkhair Aliyu Mashi, held at Masjid Abubakar Sadiq Juma’at Mosque, located in Filin Samji Quarters.
The ceremony was hosted by the families of the late Alhaji Badaru Jikamshi and Engineer Aliyu Lawal Mashi, who came together to celebrate the union of their children in a dignified and well-attended gathering.
The groom, Ibrahim Muntaka Badaru (Sultan), is the son of Alhaji Muntaka Badaru Jikamshi, the Executive Director of Agricultural Services at the Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority (SRRBDA).
Governor Radda served as the Waliyy (guardian) of the groom during the solemnisation of the marriage.
Special prayers were offered for the couple, seeking Allah’s blessings for a peaceful, successful, and prosperous married life. The event was filled with joy, warmth, and a strong sense of family and community.
The Wedding Fatiha attracted a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, family members, and well-wishers from within and outside the state.
Among those in attendance were the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Nasir Yahaya Daura; the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Abdullahi Garba Faskari; and the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji.
Others included the National Legal Adviser of the APC, Barr. Murtala Aliyu; former Deputy Governor, Tukur Ahmed Jikamshi; the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari; and members of the State House of Representatives, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Dujima and Hon. Usman Murtala Banye, among others.
Also present were the National Coordinator of AUDA-NEPAD, Salisu Jabiru Abdullahi; the Commissioner of Police, Katsina State Command; as well as other top government officials.
