Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, alongside the Deputy Governor, Hon. Malam Faruk Lawal, joined hundreds of Muslim at the funeral prayer of the late Hajia Laila Yunusa.
The funeral prayer was held yesterday at the Banu Commassie Jumu’at Mosque in Katsina.
Hajia Laila Yunusa, aged 87, was the mother of Ambassador Hussaini Commassie, Head of Mission in Nigeria, International Peace Commission of the United Nations.
Governor Radda offered prayers for the repose of the deceased, asking Almighty Allah to grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, and urged the family to bear the loss with patience and faith
