The Chairman Katsina Local Government Council Alhaji Isah Miqdat AD Saude says the Local Government has conducted Ward Level Community Needs Assessment Meeting across the twelve Wards in the area.
Alhaji Isa Miqdat AD Saude stated this while witnessing the meeting at Wakilin Kudu II ward held at Kofar Kaura Lay Out Primary school in Katsina metropolis.
Alhaji Isah Miqdat explained that the meeting was to engage citizens at the grassroots level to identify and prioritize community development needs by the people from the ward level introduced by governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda’s led administration.
The Chairman Katsina Local government stated that the meeting comprised community members such as men, women, youth, people with special needs, farmers, traders, traditional and religious leaders, CSOs, CDP and LGA Officials.
Alhaji Isah AS Saude appreciated the manner and maturity and approach by the representatives of Wakilin Kudu Ward II during the meeting.
Speaking during the meeting, the Community Development Program Officer of the Ward, Malam Abdulrahman Nasiru Albaba explained in details on the programs from the grassroots.
Others who spoke during the meeting includes representatives of religious leaders, politicians, women and youths leaders, and traders as well as CSOs among others from Wakilin Kudu II wards.
