Katsina State Ministry of Health in collaboration with Noor Dubai foundation and Safe Space Humanitarian Initiative SHASHI conducts free cataract surgery to 500 hundred and provisions of glasses and eye medications to 1000 thousand people across the State.
The wife of the Katsina State Governor Hajia Zulaihat Dikko Radda during the flag off the exercise reaffirms her commitment to champion new projects that advance citizens particularly women, children, elderly and persons with disabilities.
In his remark the Commissioner for Health Dr Musa Adamu Funtua appreciated the gesture and thanked the organisations for their efforts.
Early in a welcome address the General Manager Katsina Eye Centre wished the beneficiaries quick recovery and expressed appreciation for the gesture.
In their separate remarks the representative of the Noor Dubai foundation, Dr Mansir, the Executive Secretary of the primary Health Care Dr Shamsudeen Yahaya, among others spoke extensively on the need to treat people with eye problems.
