Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, today paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Dr. Mohammed Hassan Koguna, the Durbin Kano, who passed away at the age of 87 after a prolonged illness at a hospital in Abuja.
On arrival at the family residence in Kano this evening, Governor Radda was received by all members of the bereaved families.
During the visit, the Governor described the late Dr. Mohammed Hassan Koguna as a respected businessman, community leader, and elder statesman who lived a life of integrity, humility, and service to humanity.
“Dr. Koguna was a man of wisdom and compassion whose legacy of honesty, generosity, and public service will continue to inspire many,” Governor Radda said. “We pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings and grants him Aljannatul Firdausi.”
Governor Radda also prayed for strength and comfort for the family, urging them to take solace in the remarkable life their father lived and the good name he left behind.
The Governor was accompanied on the visit by the Principal Private Secretary, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji; the Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs, Usman Abba Jaye; and other senior government officials.
