The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State, Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa, has described the support received from party members at the ward and local government levels as a major factor in the party’s growth and victory in elections.
Dr. Saulawa made the remark during a thank-you tour to Sandamu, Baure, Zango, and Mai’adua Local Government Areas to unite party members and address grievances from the recently conducted primaries.
He urged those who lost in the primaries to take their defeat in good faith and join hands with the party and ensure it’s victory in next year’s general elections.
Dr. Bishir Gambo said the visit was also aimed at appreciating party officials at the grassroots for their unwavering support and commitment, while also providing them with the opportunity to make inputs towards the progress of the party in the state.
According to him, the tour also provided an avenue for interaction with APC officials to discuss party activities and strategize to strengthen the party ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
In all the local government areas visited, the council chairmen expressed delight over the visit by the state APC executive members, describing it as a demonstration of the leadership’s concern and commitment to the welfare of party members at the grassroots.
The council chairmen also commended Governor Dikko Umar Radda for executing numerous people-oriented and developmental projects across their respective local government areas.
