Over ten thousand youth are expected to attend the second Arewa Technology Festival to be hosted by Katsina State.
The Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee Dr.Muttaqa Rabe Darma confirmed this while briefing Newsmen over the development.
The Press Briefing which held at Katsina State Directorate of Information and Communication Technology KATDICT, was witnessed by members of the organizing committee and other stakeholders.
According to Dr. Muttaqa Darma, the participants of the Technology Festival cut across the States of Nigeria and some African Countries.
The participants of the Arewa Technology Festival comprises youth with technological talents and those with digital talents among others.
He pointed out that hosting of the event is part of the commitment of the present administration towards boosting technology in the state and transforming the state into digital state.
Engineer Muttaka Rabe highlighted that the event will focus attention in the areas of Panel Discussions, Networking Forum, Workshop and Demo Sessions among others.
The Chairman of the organizing Committee expressed optimism that the event will also attract investors and strengthen digital inclusion as well as providing job opportunities to the teeming youth in the state.
On the other hand, the Director General KATDICT Naufal Ahmad said the event will commence on Tuesday the 20th May 2025 at Continental Event Centre along the Katsina Ring Road.
He appreciated the support and co’operation given by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda towards the successful hosting of the event.
