Northern Nigeria’s Existence under Threat by Banditry and Others – Arewa Consultative Forum

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), on Thursday, during a visit to offer condolences and solidarity to the people of Borno state following the recent devastating flood disaster in Maiduguri, has expressed fear that banditry and insurgency have gone out of control in Northern Nigeria to the extent that it may threaten the existence of the entire region in the next five years.

North-West Development Commission got Chairman and Governing Board Members

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Ambassador Haruna Ginsau (Jigawa) and Prof Abdullahi Shehu Ma’aji (Kano) as the chairman Governing Board and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the North-West Development Commission (NWDC) and their names along with the members of the inaugural Governing Board of NWDC forwarded to the Senate for confirmation.
