The Katsina State Executive Council, under the leadership of Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved a new set of strategic projects and programmes aimed at empowering young people, strengthening healthcare delivery, upgrading worship centres, and improving the welfare of civil servants across the State.
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has received the comprehensive report of the 2025 Hajj operation from the Amirul Hajj and Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal, with a firm directive for immediate reforms to strengthen coordination, discipline, and service delivery ahead of the 2026 exercise.
Radda Leads VP Shettima Inside KASPA Where Data Drives Development
During the official commissioning of the Katsina Sustainable Platform for Agriculture (KASPA), Governor Dikko Umaru Radda led Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima through the state-of-the-art KASPA complex. a digital hub designed to connect farmers, government, and markets through data intelligence.
Inside the facility, the Vice President and Governor toured several departments, including the Citizens Contact Centre, where trained agents with headsets respond to farmers’ calls and inquiries about agricultural services, inputs, and market access.
In a symbolic moment, both Vice President Shettima and Governor Radda put on headsets themselves to personally experience how farmers’ voices are received and attended to through the KASPA system. a gesture that underscored their commitment to responsive, people-centered governance.
They also inspected the Command and Data Room, equipped with a large video wall displaying real-time dashboards, maps, and monitoring tools that track farm activities, resource distribution, and field operations across the state.
KASPA stands as a symbol of precision, accountability, and empowerment. blending technology with transparency to build a smarter, more sustainable agricultural future for Katsina.
