The Katsina State Government has taken a decisive step towards implementing the new ₦70,000 minimum wage for civil servants with the inauguration of a high-powered implementation committee.
A press statement issued by Sidi Ali, Hakama (Mrs.) CBN Ag. Director, of Corporate Communications late on Thursday said no deadline is fixed for the circulation of old naira notes directing all its branches to continue to issue and accept all denominations of Nigerian banknotes, old and re-designed.
The presidency announced on Wednesday that the Niger Delta Ministry and the Ministry of Sports development are scrapped for the new ministry of regional development to oversee all the regional development commissions and the National Sports Commission will take over the role of the Ministry of Sports.
