Mr Sheriff Abdallah from public relations department of the Nigeria Football Federation NFF disclosed this while briefing news men in Katsina during his working visit to Katsina football academy.
Briefing the news men about the development, Abdallah stated that Katsina football academy was selected to participate in the football tournament after fulfilling all the criteria needed.
He noted that the program will be attended by top football scout and agents from across the globe with the intention to select players with skills and talents for them to be given opportunity to play in abroad.
The tournament which is the best scouting tournament in the world is designed to give young talented players chance to display their talent for them to achieve their dreams.
Responding during the briefing, the Sports commissioner, Mal Aliyu Lawal Zakari appreciated the efforts of Nigeria football federation, NFF for finding it worthy to visit the State owned football academy.
Zakari assured the readiness of the ministry in giving all the necessary support to the academy in order to achieve the set objectives.
He acknowledged the foresight of the state governor Mal Dikko Radda for establishing the academy in the state, saying the door will remain open for any interesting player that wants to join the academy.
