Novelty Match between Katsina State Executive and Legislature officiated by the Judiciary

A novelty match have been organized between Katsina State executive council and the Legislature to celebrate Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda PhD one years in office.

Government house correspondent NSG reports that the novelty match was held at the football pitch of Muhammadu Dikko Stadium Katsina.

The match was officiated by the judiciary arm led by the state chief judge, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar assisted by Justice Bawale and Justice Amiru Tukur as AR1 & AR2.

During the novelty match, katsina executive council team dress in light blue jersey while their counterpart, the legislature wore a light green color jersey.

Before the kick off, Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda PhD represented by his deputy Malam Faruq Lawal exchange pleasantries with the members of the legislative football team.

While the speaker state house of assembly Nasiru Yahaya Daura shake hands with the members of state executive council team under the guidance of the state governor.

The match kicked off at exactly 8:30pm with hundreds of spectators from both sides cheering their players to victory.

The match was played at 20 minutes each for first and second half with the scores, two goals apiece.

Shortly after the final whistle, the captain of the state executive team Malam Faruq Lawal expressed delight in witnessing the historic day which signifies unity and understanding among the three arms of government in the state.

Malam Faruq Lawal noted that the novelty match was organized to celebrate the current administration one year in office and also to strengthen the cordial relationship between the executive, legislature and judiciary arms of government.

On his part, the speaker, Katsina State House of assembly Nasiru Yahaya Daura noted with appreciation the cordial relationship existing between the three arms of government in the state and assured for more unity, togetherness and understanding among them for more development in the state.
