So many users are facing disruptions due to Microsoft 365, including Outlook and Teams, services outage.
The company’s Service Health Status page said, “We’re focusing our investigation on token generation within our authentication infrastructure.
“In parallel, we’re reviewing recent changes to determine the root cause.”
The issue was reported around 7:45 am ET, with Microsoft describing it as “Service Degradation” for web-based applications.
As a temporary measure, the company has advised users to access Microsoft 365 apps and documents via desktop applications.
The outage has affected key services within the Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Purview, Copilot, and both web and desktop versions of Outlook.
Outlook and Teams have drawn the highest number of complaints from users, particularly those starting their workday.
