The wife of the Katsina State Governor Hajia Zulaihat Dikko Radda has reaffirmed her commitment in providing the necessary support to the Nigeria Labour Congress Women Committee in the State.
She stated this at the 2025 State Women Committee Election at the conference Hall of NULGE state headquarters in katsina.
Hajiya Zulaihat Radda who was represented by the wife of the Deputy Governor Hajia Asma’u Faroq Jobe declared the conference open and wished them a successful election in advance.
In his speech the guest of honour who doubled as the Special Adviser to the state governor on Labour and Productivity Comrade Tanimu Lawal Saulawa emphasized the need for the elected members to double their efforts in making sure that women are protected against any injustices.
In their separate remarks the National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress Comrade Joe Ajaero represented by Mrs Comfort Odubo, the state Chairman of NLC Dr Hussani Hamisu Yanduna and the chairperson of the Women Committee Hajia Maryam Abubakar Dambo appreciates the efforts of Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda and his wife Hajia Zulaihat as labour friendly.
In a vote of thanks the state secretary Hajia Basira Hassan Maiwada wish everyone back to their various destination .
Those that were sworn in includes Comrade Maryam Abubakar Dambo as Chairperson, Comrade Hussaina Abdullahi Deputy Chairperson, Comrade Basira Hassan Maiwada Secretary, Comrade Jamila Muhammad Anda Assistant Secretary while Comrade Fatima Sani Yaya and Comrade Nafisa Mansir Safana have been sworn in as ex officio one and two respectively.
