Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, today received the immediate past Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, on a courtesy visit at the Government House, Katsina.
During the visit, the former IGP personally greeted Governor Radda and joined him in offering prayers of gratitude for the Governor’s safety following the minor road accident he experienced last month.
The meeting was particularly significant as it came shortly after the Governor concluded his medical leave, a moment that marked his full recovery and renewed strength.
Governor Radda warmly welcomed the former police chief, expressing deep appreciation for his thoughtful visit and heartfelt prayers.
He commended Usman Alkali Baba for his exceptional contributions to Nigeria’s security architecture, describing him as a true patriot who devoted his career to protecting lives and property across the nation.
The Governor also wished the former IGP continued good health and prayed for God’s blessings upon him and his family.
