Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed deep condolences over the death of General Abdullahi Mohammed (rtd), former National Security Adviser and Chief of Staff to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo and Umar Musa Yar’Adua.
Governor Radda described Gen. Mohammed’s death as a monumental loss to Nigeria and the entire security architecture of the nation.
“General Abdullahi Mohammed served Nigeria with uncommon dedication and patriotism. His contributions to national security and defence remain indelible in our nation’s history,” the governor said.
He noted that the late general’s tenure as NSA brought stability and strategic direction to Nigeria’s security operations during critical periods.
Governor Radda commiserated with the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum and Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the government and people of Kwara State over the irreparable loss.
“We share in the grief of our brother governor, the good people of Kwara State, and the entire Mohammed family. General Mohammed’s legacy of service will continue to inspire generations of security professionals,” he stated.
The governor prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus and give his family, the government and people of Kwara State the fortitude to bear the loss.
