The wife of the Katsina State Governor, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Radda, has called on women across the state to continue supporting her husband, Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda, in his vision and determination to advance the development of Katsina State and Nigeria at large.
She gave the assurance that more developmental projects would be executed within the year and in the years ahead to improve the living standards of the people of the state.
Hajiya Zulaihat made the remarks during a book launch titled “The Transformational Work of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, and His Wife, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Radda”, held at the Civil Service Commission Hall, Katsina.
Similarly, Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda purchased a copy of the book for ₦2 million, while his wife, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Radda, also bought one copy for ₦1 million.
In her welcome address, the Chairperson of the Organising Committee, Hajiya Amina Adamu Dan’iyau, welcomed all guests and expressed hope that other states would emulate Katsina’s exemplary leadership and commitment to development.
In their separate remarks, the Head of Local Government Administration in Baure, Alhaji Yusuf Macheka who represented the Chairman, Alhaji Sani Suleiman and Hajiya Talatu Nasir commended the author for documenting the achievements of the Governor and his wife.
In her vote of thanks, the author of the book, Hajiya Hassana Aliyu, expressed appreciation for the overwhelming support received during the launch.
