The congratulatory matches were organized by Alh Aminu Jariri Leno in collaboration with the Katsina State Football Association (F.A.).
The two matches played are between Kangiwa United against K/soro United and Durbi Strikers versus Gawo Professionals.
The two matches played ended in a goalless draw as both sides displayed good soccer prowess to the admiration of the teeming spectators.
The congratulatory matches were attended by sports lovers, football stakeholders, politicians, well-wishers, friends, and family.
Shortly after the encounter’s awards were presented to the previous sports commissioners, the Chairman of the Gwagware Foundation, and the current commissioner, among others.
Similarly, two pieces of balls and tokens are shared among the four football clubs that participated in the novelty matches as a gesture.
