Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Muhammad Bello, Dan Yusufan Katsina and the District Head of Bindawa District, who passed away last night.
Governor Radda described the death of the respected traditional leader as a painful loss to the people of Bindawa, the Katsina Emirate, and Katsina State as a whole.
“He was a respected traditional leader who served his people with commitment, integrity, and compassion. His wise counsel and leadership will be greatly missed by the people of Bindawa, the Katsina Emirate, and the entire Katsina State,” the Governor stated.
The Governor further noted that throughout his years of service as District Head of Bindawa, the late Alhaji Muhammad Bello played an important role in strengthening community unity, promoting peace, and supporting development within the district.
Governor Radda also reflected on the significance of his passing during the blessed month of Ramadan, particularly within the last ten days, which are among the most sacred and spiritually significant days in Islam.
“His passing during the holy month of Ramadan, especially in the last ten days, reminds us of the mercy and wisdom of Almighty Allah,” the Governor added.
Governor Radda, on behalf of the government and the people of Katsina State, extended condolences to the family of the late Dan Yusufan Katsina, the people of Bindawa District, the Katsina Emirate, and the entire traditional institution in the state.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant his family, the people of Bindawa, and Katsina State the strength and patience to bear this great loss.
