Recall that Danlami is bouncing back as a commissioner barely three days after loosing Saturday’s House of Representatives race on the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) sequel to his resignation as sports commissioner.

Meanwhile, the state chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Katsina State, had passed a vote of confidence on the Danlami over his second coming as sports commissioner.

In a statement issued by the state chairman of the association, Sani Nadir Gide, the sports writers described the commissioner’s reappointment as a welcome development considering the vital roles he played during his previous administration.

The SWAN boss, who commended Governor Masari for reappointing Danlami to lead the ministry again, pledged the readiness of the association to continue working with the sports commissioner and the ministry for the overall development of sporting activities in the state.
