The center for democracy and Development (CDD) Africa has organized a two-day training for journalists drawn from broadcast and print media working in katsina State.
The Katsina State Directorate of National Orientation Agency (NOA) has embarked on a security awareness campaign in border local government areas of the state with the aim of educating citizens on cross-border crimes and mobilizing them to complement Government efforts to end insecurity in the state and the country in
general.
In continuation of the 70‑Year Celebration of Women in Policing, Katsina Command conducted two key activities: a visit to Women Teachers College, Katsina, for a career talk encouraging female students to join the police, and a 5 km awareness walk on Gender‑Based Violence (GBV) to sensitise the community.
