The Katsina state Chapter of New Nigeria Peoples’ Party (NNPP) has elected new executives for the Party through Consensus .
The exercise took place at the Party’s Headquarters in the state Capital, katsina.
Those elected include Armaya’u Abdulkadir State Chairman; Muhammad Nasiru Tsauri (Vice Chairman 1); Mani Ibrahim Jani( Vice Chairman 2); Alhaji Garba Sarki (Vice Chairman 3); and Tijjani Zakari (Secretary) among others.
Speaking during the congress, the Chairman of the Congress from National Headquarters of the Party who is the Commissioner of Finance, Kano State, Alhaji Ibrahim Jibril expressed appreciation over the maturity exhibited by party delegates during the all congress starting from ward to state levels.
The Secretary of the Congress who is a member, Federal House of Assembly representing Kura-Madobi-Garin Malam, Yusuf Umar Datti said he monitored all the congress from grassroots to state level, adding that the election was smooth and successful.
Earlier, the Secretary Caretaker Committee, Alhaji Muhammad Nasiru Tsauri expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for giving them chance to lead the party for five months .
He appreciated the cooperation from the party’s members.
