Katsina State Transport Authority (KTSTA) says its Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative has boosted its fleet to over 200 buses aimed at better service delivery.

General Manager, KTSTA, Haruna Musa, who spoke to journalists in Katsina shortly after the State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, inspected and blessed three new buses of the authority, noted that KTSTA purchased one vehicle a month or three every quarter from its revenue aside the buses it acquired through PPP to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

He stated that the Public Private Partnership was also introduced to generate more employment opportunity for the people of the state and to enhance service delivery.

Musa said the three Toyota Hummer buses added to the authority’s fleet on Tuesday are a testament to KTSTA management’s pledge to the government and people of the state.

According to Musa, “since my assumption of office (November 2018), we have been able to purchase 31 buses, one utility car as well as an official car for the GM.

“We are praying Almighty for guidance for more service delivery to the people of the state.”
