The Lajnatul HISBA Association of Nigeria Katsina Command has organized free medical outreach at Jan-Bango Quarters in Katsina Metropolis.
Speaking to Newsmen before commencement of the exercise held at Masjid Abdullahi Bin Masud, the Chairman HISBA Health Committee Malam Muhammad Rabiu Garba said the event was organised as part of the humanitarian services of the association.
Malam Muhammad Rabiu explained that they are rendering free medical services to 2000 patients and medication will be given to them during the program.
Also speaking, the Organising Secretary of the Association Malam Mustapha Abubakar said last year they organised such gesture to five communities in Katsina Local Government Area.
Malam Mustapha Abubakar stated that the aim of the program was to assist less privileged, widows and orphans in the society.
Commenting on the program, the leader of medical team, Nas. Abdullahi Muhammad Zango said the team comprised of all health practitioners.
In a vote of thanks, Katsina Zonal Commander of the association, Malam Muhammad Mahadi Rabiu Jibia, thanked the state Command of Lajnatul HISBA for choosing them for the gesture.
In an interview with some of the beneficiaries of the free medical outreach, Abdulaziz Biliyaminu and Halima Yusuf thanked the association over the gesture and urged others to emulate.
