Katsina Football Academy’s rising star Abdallah Mannir Mannir from Batagarawa secured a six-month trials in Portugal with the option to sign a professional contract when he turns 18 years old.
Katsina Football Academy, in conjunction with member representing the Rimi-Charanchi-Batagarawa Federal Constituency, Arch Murtala Usman Banye, has secured professional football for Dandagoro-based Abdallah Mannir, a constituent of the House of the Representative member.
The measure behind the development from the House of Representatives member Arch Murtala Usman Banye is aimed at complementing the current administration of Mal. Dikko Umaru Radda’s vision in transforming the lives of young footballers in Katsina State.
Arch Murtala Usman Banye, who supported Abdallah Mannir in securing a visa and six months’ trials with Portuguese team says he will continue to partner with the academy in fulfilling the dreams of young talented footballers under the constituency.
Arch Murtala Banye therefore stressed the need for other national assembly members to come together to complement the state government’s building your future agenda through giving the necessary support to their constituents.
While bidding farewell to the player, the academy’s director, Shamsuddeen Ibrahim, charged Abdallah Mannir to remain steadfast, committed, and dedicated by ensuring a permanent deal with the Portuguese team.
The Dandagoro-based young footballer Abdallah Mannir is set to depart Lagos, Nigeria, for Portugal on the 28th of June 2026 to commence his professional football trials with the hope of securing a permanent deal.
