Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary to the Katsina State Governor, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, has explained that the governor introduced Zonal Senior Special Assistants on political matters to foster good governance and best interests of state citizens.

Mohammed, while explaining the rationale behind the development, in a statement, said it demonstrates the governor’s commitment to strengthening the governance and political landscape of the state.

He added the appointments of

Alhaji Habibu Sulaiman – Funtua Zone, Alhaji Halilu Ibrahim Karofi – Katsina Zone and Alhaji Hassan Kawuri – Daura Zone, were made with a firm belief in the capabilities and dedication of the appointees to serve the state with utmost diligence and integrity.

“Governor Dikko Umaru Radda expressed his confidence in the merit-based selection process, which led to the appointment of these distinguished individuals. 

Their profound knowledge and vast experience in political matters are expected to contribute significantly to the progress and development of Katsina State,” he said.

He however said  the newly appointed Zonal Senior Special Assistants were urged by the governor to uphold the values of transparency, accountability, and commitment in the discharge of their duties. 

He further stated that the governor also sought the blessings of Allah upon the appointees, praying that they may receive divine guidance in their efforts to serve the state and its people.

Mohammed added: “As Katsina State enters a new phase of growth and progress, the appointment of these Zonal Senior Special Assistants is a testament to Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD’s unwavering dedication to building a prosperous and harmonious state.”
