Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Umar Radda, has assisted 4,634 Katsina pilgrims in Saudi Arabia with N278 million as part of their feeding allowance.The Amirul Hajj of the state and immediate past Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Tasiu Musa Maigari, made this known to the state pilgrims in Makkah on Sunday. Zango, in a statement by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to Gov Radda, also conveyed the governor’s sallah felicitations to the pilgrims on their successful completion of this year’s Hajj exercise.The Katsina State Amirul Hajj, alongside members of the leadership of the state Hajj delegation, Alhaji Garba Faskari and Alhaji Abdullahi Garba Aminchi, former deputy governors of the state, and Alhaji Aminu Abdulmumin Kabir Usman, Magajin Garin Katsina and Chairman of the Katsina Pilgrims Welfare Board, noted that the governor supported each of the pilgrims with 60,000 which is equivalent of 300 Saudi riyals, while urging them to pray for the end of insecurity in the state. Earlier, the Executive Secretary of the pilgrims welfare board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the state pilgrims during the annual exercise. # # # # # #.
